The river view was beautiful, but shared baths got crowded in the mornings.
-

The room offers a stunning view of the river, providing a beautiful morning backdrop and the warmth of plenty of blankets for colder nights. The shared bathrooms are clean and modern, ensuring a comfortable experience despite the shared facilities.
Loud guests can disrupt the peace, given the traditional structure's thin walls, making sound travel more than you'd expect. Privacy worries arise when staff enter rooms without prior notice, creating a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere for those seeking solitude. The older building's age shows in winter temperatures, as even with two heaters, the rooms can feel quite chilly at night.

The Japanese-Style Room with Shared Bathroom was cozy, filled with charm. Lots of space for our things and the futon beds were super comfy! The view of the river from the room was beautiful, which made mornings even nicer. The shared bathroom was clean, but there was some noise from other guests, which was a bit distracting. it felt like a unique experience steeped in tradition.
